Hey, in case you are wondering, the guy standing above Lake Titicaca is me. I am Thore, 29, originally from Germany. I have spent the past ten years wandering the world: nine countries lived in, more than fifty visited, and a backpack full of stories, some easier to believe than others.

South America has stolen my heart. I have lived there twice, in Colombia and Peru, and spent countless days with friends who either come from there or have made it their home. Through them I have learnt the language, the culture and the art of slowing down and truly living.
